Gotta love all these Jewish organizations doing their part to stand up for the people of Palestine. So many of them are cleverly organized, thoroughly informed, well spoken and brave. I know they are met with harsh criticism and pain from their own families, friends and communities, yet they reject binaries and navigate nuance with a sturdy moral compass and spines of steel. (As an Arab I know how treacherous it can be.) Some of these Jews are in Israel, some are in the States and in Canada and all over the world. They come in all shapes and sizes and denominations of religiousness and degrees of past and present association with Israel or Zionism or the holocaust. They are using everything in the toolbox to resist atrocities committed in their name. Their efforts are truly making a difference and they will be on the right side of history. Bravo!
