Gotta stop conflating anti-Islam with anti-Arab...not the same thing. I am also anti-Christian... doesnt make me anti-American because most Americans are religious. I think saying we cant separate Middle Eastern people from their bronze-age ignorant ideologies is in itself racist. Simply because you are Arab, doesnt necessitate that you have to believe in hateful and irrational bullshit, or that you are incapable of reason. In fact, the Middle east was once the cradle of science and math... it took religion to take it back to the dark ages.
