This patient has been to one of the acupuncturist in Auckland who also practise Dr Tan style acupuncture. He had 2 treatments and the result was very good for right big toes joint, but no effect on left big toes joint at all. I decided to applied bloodletting before acupuncture. Patient moved better in left big toes after bloodletting. Then I did acupuncture on right big thump joint according to Dr tan acupuncture method. Patient immediate felt pain relief after I combine 2 method together. I found this combination work well together in many cases.
