Gov Ahmed Commissions 2 Road Projects The Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed yesterday commissioned two major road projects as party of activities marking the third anniversary of his administration. The projects are the Ijara-Isin–Isanlu-Isin road in Isin local government area and Oro-Ijomu-Oro road in Irepodun local government area. Governor Ahmed while speaking at the ceremony, restated the determination of his administration to rid the state of abandoned projects syndrome and the associated wastage of public resources. This, he said informed his pledge to complete all on-going projects started by his predecessor, which were at different completion levels when he assumed office. The governor, who promised that no community in the state would be left out of his administration’s project development initiatives, explained that such efforts are going on in phases. He also called on indigenes of the state resident outside to come home and contribute to its development, saying he has provided the needed environment for investment.
