In general, it is important to bring comfortable shoes for walking and hiking, sandals, and casual clothes. Nicaraguans, especially in Managua, do not generally dress formally, instead they wear light clothing and for special occasions men will wear long sleeve collared shirts, and women long dresses with heels.
