Grant County PUD customers better be happy with the location of their Wanapum Dam, because when crews are finished anchoring it to bedrock, it won’t be going anywhere. Work continues round-the-clock, six days a week to repair the a 65-foot crack discovered in February on one of the Columbia River dam’s 12 concrete spillway base sections and anchor the rest of the massive structure more securely to bedrock.
