Gratitude -What a wonderful day we had yesterday! So much food, so much laughter, so many people! Dan and I love, love, love serving Thanksgiving every year - he loves the cooking, I love the organizing so it works. Throw in a potato-peeling Rev who was there early yesterday to help set up along with Eric, Drea and Al, and add a half dozen dedicated volunteers who love to laugh while they wash dishes and youve got the A-team. Hard work should always be this much fun! -Food! What an array of color, texture and flavor! We really need to start a Unity North cookbook! -People! A wonderful gathering of families and friends. There are many reasons why people join us - some for several years now. Whatever the reason, we are grateful to be able to set the stage for a day where arms are open wide and laughter abounds. Yes, it was a wonderful day! Lets do it again next year! :)
