Great article for investors who utilize LLCs for holding their real estate. Dont play fast and loose with the rules. When you start to move money around and ignore the LLC as the owner, you might put yourself at risk if there is a liability issue down the line. While that risk might be low, it would seem prudent that you close on your transaction and have the proceeds go to the seller of the property -- the LLC. Once the LLC has the money, it can distribute that money to its members as permitted by the LLC operating agreement. ?
