Great day of wrestling for the Ellsworth team. Theyve never looked better than ever. Even Steve Patten (the ref) said that the team looks very sharp. Maybe he meant the snazzy new singlets....just kiddin, he definitely was talking about their skills. Our guys are wrestling tough and improving everyday and The Way is producing outstanding talent. We are lucky to have a club in town. Match of the day goes to Connor Petros again for his win over Brooks Law, and the wrestler of the day goes to Peyton Cole because anytime a freshman beats a senior it should be recognized. Dagan Berenyi set a new school record for fastest Tech Fall, 1:34 and thats going in the books. Austin Smith bumped up to wrestle 182 and had an outstanding day. Shawn McKechnie earns The move of the day award with a funk roll surprise attack! Ellsworth should be very proud of this group of young men.
