Great news ghouls & boys… Hotel Transylvania 2 is creeping back to the cinema’s… Weve found out through Variety, that Sony Pictures Animation is planning to continue its association with Genndy Tartakovsky; with a view to attach him to direct Hotel Transylvania 2 for the studio. Furthermore, they will realize a project together which Tartakovsky developed himself entitled Genndy Tartakovsky Can You Imagine? Sony also plans to create an animated Smurfs picture which is still to be titled. As Variety state, it will be a stand-alone movie from the previous live-action/animated hybrid films that Sony Animation had previously released; where they have secured Kelly Asbury to direct. This is set for an August 2015 release which Jordan Kerner will produce. And as for Hotel Transylvania 2, this will be released September 2015, and will see Adam Sandler return to voice Dracula. As well as lending his vocals, Sandler and Robert Smigel will be assuming writing duties for the animation which will be a comedy.
