Greenzone results 03-12-2014 So guys, a bit late with the posting today, but it was a bit of a crazy day !. Weak Eurozone numbers and general strengthening of the USD , resulted in a new 2 year low around 1.2301 for the EURUSD , breaking through the previous 1.2360 low !: However until now unable to break through 1,23 , so very tough resistance there !. But our forecast of the EURUSD at 1.2250 before Christmas, looks like it very well come true, so far 50 pips from this prediction to come through !. However now all is up to Draghi tomorrow, and eventhough he will be very dovish in his statements, then more and more people ezpect a QE , but think it will come in Q1 of 2015, which is plausible, but the extra added weak numbers, does put the odds for QE up . But even though he should not impose anymore measures for the Euro just now and we will see a rise in the EURUSD, it will just be a good thing for adding new bearish positions !. The NFP on Friday, is expected to show better figures than last month and it could very well happen !. This should also enforce the predictions of a rate hike in the middle of 2015 !. So should we for the first time in 20 years see the EURUSD going down in the end of the year? Well that the good question, but without any miracles, I guess we are heading for the 1.2158 and if thats broken, we should also see 1.20 medium term. But we might see a rise in the pair first, depending on Draghi and the NFP . Otherwise the abyss is waiting ! Not much to say about the USDJPY really, following the USD Index very nicely indeed, so keep an eye on it !: Now it doesn´t seem like a question of reaching 1.20 or 1.22 but rather when it will happen. Probably with some retracement as usual, but eventually………. The Cable is as sideways as ever, however the UK has shown some quite nice results after the inflation report, keeping it up for now, and tomorrow there are not expected any surprises either. However a rate hike in the US is expected to happen sooner than the UK so this will keep a lid on the GBP. Today we saw it rise above 1.57 just to lose it again and is now hovering around the 1.568x area. Could see another move upwards, but the general direction looks bearish medium term !. Anyway lets see what Draghi has got to say rather than do and then see if the NFP later on Friday will play games.
