Greetings friends! As you all may or may not know, the Society of Mannequins has honored me as one of their “2014 Ten Best Dressed African-American Women of Chicago” for Outstanding Professional Achievement and Community Service. The Society of Mannequins is a non-profit organization that recognizes women of color who are exemplary role models and outstanding leaders in their fields and communities. The Annual Awards Gala and Fundraiser was held on Sunday, March 16th but due to my participation in the Mrs. Illinois International Pageant I was unable to attend.
