Gross. No aggressive posturing, unless you count the casual brandishing of an air gun, which given racial double standards, would most likely have gone unnoticed by a white customer in an open-carry state like Ohio. The actions by the police in this video, clearly display an uneven response to a perceived threat. That perception is, of course , guided by a centuries-old narrative of black danger. John Crawford should not be dead, and the biggest crime is that the officers will be completely validated in their fear. They will be, as they typically are, allowed to walk away from accountability.
