Group input needed: I have a question that is probably more for a lawyer, but I do not have one. I have sole custody of our 7 year old daughter, ExN has visitation every Sunday with Saturday to Sunday overnight every other weekend. Initially I had agreed to claim her on taxes every other year back at the end of 2011, when we split and I had agreed to split custody. But then he kicked me out of the house, and took our daughter one night when he was drunk, so I got an RO and full custody. (I have been living with my mother). I have claimed her the last 2 years, since she lived with me. Recently the judge granted him every other year to claim her. I never thought that could happen. I pay for summer camp, all care for holidays and vacations, I do 100% of the transportation, while he has her 2 nights a month, has not lost a single hour of work to care for her, refuses to take her if she is mildly sick, etc. My question is, does anybody think that I can appeal this? And any advice on how to act/react to the poison that he puts in her head about me? I have major anxiety and depression, and he feeds off of it. I tend to react impulsively, which makes it worse. It is so hard to ignore his need to fight, argue, and still control me.
