Gudmrn you!!! Today is my dads bday n I want to celebrate him on every page I find myself on. My dad, has been a messenger till he got a higher position as an accountant wid PBC before he came on retirement 7 years now. I remember my dad never made me owe in school n it was scarce to see him in new shirts nor pants nor shoes. Everything on him was actually old meanwhile I got d best clothes, was put in best schools n had access to almost everything I requested for. Whiles growing, instead of my dad buying a car, he got a bike dat moved him around. He behaved like a servant just to win favours all because of me. He told me oneday when things were unbearable dat Ama, I am not rich, but I will make sure u r highly educated cus I never got d chance to b educated . My dad is my frd, my mentor, my teacher, my disciplinarian, my cook, my help n my all. Its my father who started calling me ohemaa n truly he treated me as a queen. He is d only dad, although wasnt earning much divides his money n gave me half to make sure I am comfortable in school. Unless I dont call him for anything, all my dad told me was I must see my daughter higher. Its my father alone, who paid me monthly allowance even when I decided to work. It was my dad who will sit back n wait till I come home even when its past his bedtime. Its only my dad, who called me each morning before my exams n right after the exams jux to find out how easy the paper was. Its my dad only, dat drove from home after church to spend d afternoon wid me in my hostel n laid in my hostel bed n slept for hours before going home. Its my dad alone, dat gives me his money n he allows me determine aw he shd spend it. What a father!!! Kofi...dats how I call him n he will respond, Ama. He is d only dad dat makes me laugh cus he has a new joke everyday n upon all dat, when I misbehave he doesnt spare me ... dat rigid n strict correction is made n made asap. My dad gave me d best of education n today I am also called a literate. He came low as a servant jux to see me high ....so y wont I take care of such a man. I love my dad n he means the world to me. As today marks his 67th birthday, help me pray wid him for long life,favour, strength n grace. I love my dad n he remains the best dad I always am proud of. Mr Joseph Kofi Quaye aka captain, daddy, Biamah loves u. Long live dad!!!
