Guess I better update since I announced we were at the drs office earlier today. Everything looks good. The hole in his belly has definitely shrunk substantially. Less dressing required. His doctor is so nice and apologized for our long wait. Was there for any and all questions and explained lots of things to both of us, especially me. Mickey is proud that he weighs less than his svelte dr (who asks their doctor how much they weigh? - Mickey) Needless to say, the six hours of being out today for the first time since his June 25 surgery took a toll but other than the fatigue and soreness, he is doing well. Thank you everyone for your concern and asking about him. And thank God that Mickey survived the last three months.
