Guest Speaker in Spiritual Life: Since the OCO community will be participating in a 10K on October 5 to raise money and awareness for hunger. We are starting the reflection process now so that we can do more than just serve, but actually be in solidarity with those who are starving. As part of that, I have invited my dear friend and colleague mine to speak in one of our live sessions (9/24). As a Christian, Michelle Jurkovich found it impossible to watch God’s people suffer and do nothing, so she pursued a PhD in International Relations/Political Science with an emphasis in hunger studies.
