Guitar Tip: Refine, refine, refine. As guitar players mature, they tend to refine their art and craft. They don’t play things just because they can, they’re willing to let more silence into the spaces between the notes, they move their hands in more energy-efficient ways, they make their vibrato less exaggerated, and so on. While I wouldn’t encourage to you extinguish any of the real fire from your playing—at whatever age you are—I’d suggest that you think about ways that you can refine your playing so that there’s no wasted energy, no wasted intention. #guitartips
