Gunner is one of those dogs that gets passed over because other dogs are cuter or younger or even faster. Please stop and take a look at Gunner. While he has a few issues he would be a great companion for a single person or a retired but fit couple. As with some larger dogs, Gunner does have some issues with his back end. However rather than a degenerative issue it seems more like he may have been born with it. Any how it does not seem to slow him down. Gunner loves to play outside and then come in and relax. He enjoys people but is not demanding. He is good with most other dogs although he likes to be the top dog. He is also strong so he needs a sturdy walking partner. So if you an take a moment to stop and meet Gunner he may just be the dog for you.
