Guys, I have a 2009 ZD30 CRD. Been having a lot of what i thought was drive belt squeel on startup until warmed up when it goes away. Today i replaced the belt and tensioner pulley setup only to find that the noise is still there and sounds like it is actually coming from the turbo itself. I played around and found that when i disconnected a small black hose from this thing pictured below the noise went away but think it may affect the boost when disconnected as it doesnt have as much power. Can someone actually tell me what this part is and does. Im thinking it may be time to replace the turbo cause it sounds like a turbine wheel is squeeling for some reason. Cheers
