Guys, Ive never really introduced myself and Im new to this group. My name is Joanna, Im a Polish girl who lives in Sweden now and whos split between metal... and 60/70 music ;) Im recentely becoming more and more obsessed about Sabaton.. It begun with the Carolus Rex album and seeing them live at Masters of Rock 2012. This year Ive seen them at Rockstad: Falun, later at Karlstad and now in Ireland three weeks ago. Honestly - for me theyre simply amazing as they combine the classical heavy metal and power metal sound, you can hear some references and influences, but their sound is so fresh and unique and their own! Its one of the very few bands that gives you an ENORMOUS kick and blast of positive energy.. you CANNOT stand still when listening to them, its impossible! You CANNOT not smile when you listen to them. I love the backing choires, I love the drums, the melody lines in guitars.. and I absolutely freaking love Joakims voice! I love their image and the fact that they sing about history... Its a pity that Sabaton wasnt around while I was still at school (Im 32) ;) would have much better grades in history ;) And finaly - I love their personalities on stage!!! Theyre one of the best showmen around.. I dont know HOW they do it but they are so natural, and sponanous, and crazy, and funny, and entertaining, and... I absolutely love them!!! And they are so fantastic when it comes to treating their fans! Here are some pics from this year :) Unfortunately no pics from Ireland.
