HEALTH ADVISORY The League City Police Department received a call this morning at 11:22 a.m. from Immediate Medical Care located at 2640 E League City Parkway. A medical worker stated a patient who had recently traveled from Africa was at the facility and exhibiting symptoms that could be consistent with Ebola. As a precaution, the facility and immediate area were closed and the Galveston County Health District was notified. League City Emergency Services personnel are treating this situation with every precaution and working closely with Galveston County Health officials to transport the League City resident to UTMB for testing. Any other personnel or patients present at the facility this morning have been kept quarantined until the Galveston County Health District evaluates the situation.
