HELP – AN A FACTOR ‘For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief (help) and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place… (Esther 4:14a)’ In any linear equation, there are three distinct factors/keys and elements. The function ‘(f)’ or ‘(y)’, the ‘a’ or ‘k’ and then b(x). The only element that does not change in the equation is the ‘a’ – the constant factor. Irrespective of any changes or happenings, ‘a’ remains constant. A critical look at the focal scripture will show that ‘Help’ is an ‘A – factor’. Modecai addressing Esther made her to realize that help coming to the Jews inform of relief and deliverance is a surety; it does not matter whether she helped or not – HELP MUST COME; HELP IS AN A FACTOR. Israel does not need Esther to survive, they will scale through anyway and any anyhow. We must begin to believe that help will definitely come our way, it does not matter who help us or not, Help is a constant. That is why the Hebrew writer admonish us ‘not to lose our confidence (Heb. 10:35); our trust brings great reward and result to us. David described help as an ‘already-made thing’. A present help and available help at time when it is needed (Psalm 46:1). The prophet Isaiah under divine unction said and I quote ‘For the Lord, God will help me …and I know that I will not be ashamed.(Isaiah 50:7).Paul therefore admonished us in 1Thes 5:13 not to sorrow like those who have not hope because HELP IS COMING OUR WAY. AMEN. Always remember that HELP is a constant; An A- Factor. SHALOM Sunday-Oye, AJIBOLA. ACA
