HERE IS A STORYOnce mike spread rumors that hisneighbor Abednego was a thief.As aresult, Abednego was arrested. Dayslater Abednego was proveninnocent.After being released hesued mike for wrongly accusing him.In the court mike told the Judge:“They were just comments, didn’tharm anyone.”The judge told mike: “Write all thethings you said about him on apiece of paper. Cut them up and onthe way home, throw the pieces ofpaper out.Tomorrow,come back to hear the sentence.”Next day, the judge told mike:“Before receiving the sentence, youwill have to goout and gather all the pieces ofpaper thatyou threw out yesterday.” mike said:“I can’t do that! The wind spreadthem and I won’t know where to findthem.” The judge then replied: “Thesame way,simple comments may destroy thehonor ofa man to such an extent that one isnot able tofix it.If you can’t speak well ofsomeone, rather don’t say anything.”Moral: Let’s all be masters of ourmouths, so that we won’t be slavesof our words.
