HOUSE KWASA The peoples music returns. House Kwasa is a truly Botswana original genre of music pioneered by SKIZO, in 2001/2002, with TUPUNDU providing the earliest traces of the genre. In 2002, WIZARDS OF THE DESERT adopted the style with experimental songs FIRE and MAMA which received a positive response. WIZARDS then convinced VEE to be part of the movement and and he did not hesitate to join the wagon.WIZARDS then introduced him to JOSE MASAMBA who together with VEE came up with a monter hit OLA KASI. Full blown albums then followed by WIZARDS,; VEE, SKIZO and later completed by T-JOINT to officialise the genre as BOTSWANAS favourite music. The genre suffered a setback in popularity between 2009/2012 because the Pioneers had taken a back sit but we are back in the drivers seat and BOTSWANA WILL DANCE AGAIN!
