HOW I DEFEATED STRESS AND ANXIETY.... When I became a single mother, finances became super tight and our days got busier. Along with being super busy, I slowly developed anxiety and panic attacks. It was truly the toughest time in my life. But I became tired of being tired, tired of not feeling normal, tired of being overweight and tired of not being there 100% for my son. So I decided to make a change. I started moving my butt! Once I started moving, I realized that my stress went away. And when my stress went away so did my anxiety. And when my panic attacks went away, so did my medications. Then I noticed my waist line getting smaller and my energy going through the roof. I felt amazing! I told my doctor that I didn’t need a refill on my prescriptions anymore because working out was my medication! She told me that I should be a spokesperson for fitness, and that is absolutely why I’m sharing this story with you now. Stress is inevitable in our society. But if you can just move your body even if its just walking 15 minutes a day, it will do more than just make you look good in a pair of jeans. You will be addding years to your life and a better quality of living NOW :)
