HOWARD COUNTY POLICE DAILY BULLETIN MONDAY, JULY 29, 2013 Addresses are shown in hundred blocks. BURGLARY - COMMERCIAL Beat D1 RIVER HILL POOL, 6300 TROTTER RD, 7/25 2200 – 7/26 0730: Unknown suspect(s) cut a chain and attempted to pry open doors to the clubhouse. The suspect(s) were able to pry the roll down security window and gain entry into the concession stand and opened the empty cash register. Nothing appears to be missing from the property. 13-72119 Beat C4 J & D JEWELRY, 6600 DOBBIN RD, 7/25 1805 – 7/26 0950: Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the business via the roof and exited through the front door. Attempts to drill into the safe were unsuccessful. It does not appear that any items were taken. 13-72141 Beat F1 WEST HOWARD SWIM CLUB, 16100 OLD FREDERICK RD, 7/26 1700: An unknown suspect broke into the club by breaking the padlock to the concession stand and cutting the screen door. Nothing appeared to be missing. 13-72166 Beat D6 SNOWBALL STAND, 12200 RT 108, 7/25 0915 – 7/26 1145: Unknown suspect pried open the door of the snowball stand, located in front of Kendall’s Hardware, and searched the interior for money. The safe was partially pulled from its location but was not removed. Nothing was taken from the stand. 13-72170 BURGLARY – NON COMMERCIAL Beat D2 5400 ELLIOTS OAK RD, 7/26 1200-1400: Unknown suspect used a bike that did not belong to the victim to climb through an open window on the second floor. An electronic gaming system, headphones, and iPad were taken. 13- 72208 Beat F2 800 WINDY KNOLL, 7/6 1700 – 7/27 1300: An unknown suspect broke into the attached garage of the vacant house, using an unlocked roll-top door as the point of entry. A riding mower and a battery charger were stolen. There were no signs of attempts to enter the residence. 13-72549 Beat E2 Unit block ALMA AVE, 7/27 1556: Victim reported that an unknown person entered her home through the front door, which she believes was locked. There were no pry marks on the front door but, there was evidence of ransacking inside. A television was stolen. 13-72580 Beat D2 5000 ELIOTS OAK, 7/28 1800-2145 LATE REPORTED: Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by shattering the rear slider with an unknown object. A TV, electronic gaming system, e-reader, backpack; and a black hat were taken. The TV was later located in nearby woods. 13-72985 VEHICLE THEFT & ATTEMPTS Beat C3 6800 HAPPY HEART LN, 7/26 2131: 13 Chev Silverado white 2MJ195 MD or WV 13-72351 Beat C4 9100 COMMERCE CENTER DR, 7/28 2201: 02 Honda Accord white 3AY2658 13-72984
