Ending 2014 and Looking Forward to 2015 The Holidays came to a close this morning at midnight with the arrival of 2015. Christmas was busy as usual. My family tell me Im a Scrooge. I dont think Im a Scrooge, I think the purpose for exchanging of gifts is out of control, “Black Friday”. I love my family very much and I know they love me, also, they have a good spirit of Christmas. My granddaughter, Lyndsey, gave me an Otter Box for Christmas. The store sold her the wrong size and to save time I went to the AT&T store in Owensboro to exchange the unit. Immediately an employee determined that I would have to be added to Lyndsey s plan to make exchanges. She was friendly and helped all she could. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give her an 8. After eating, shopping, etc, we went back to the AT&T store. This time I met a young lady named Stacey that personified the spirit love. If youre old, sometimes youre not treated as important. Im 74 yr,s old and have Parkinson, I have trouble expressing myself. Sometimes the words just don’t come to me. If youre near my age you understand what Im saying. She assured me often that everything was OK. Every obstacle was handled professionally, with confidence and continually assuring me that everything was under control. She made me feel important, When the exchange was complete I offered my sincere thanks. She said “Im walking you to the door”. She walked to the door with me, waved to my wife and thanked us for our business. I have a new respect for AT&T a company that hires people like Stacey
