As a Test Analyst you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests that prove the functional and non-functional requirements of the system, ideally with a wealth of knowledge in a variety of industries. You will be able to show initiative and learn new technologies quickly.Responsibilities: Plan and execute testing related deliverables across various stages of testing Develop and maintain test artefacts across all test levels Ensuring the team adheres to HP’s set of tools and processes, and comply with agreed standards Work with developers, business stakeholders and other testing resources from the project and the business in completion of testing requirement Assist the Test manager in generation of reports that give visibility of testing progress and quality Provide recommendations to improve test planning, test processes, test strategies and overall quality Identify and review functional and non-functional requirements, identify and script test cases Execute assigned test cases and document test results Conduct severity/impact analysis of found defects Identify and report test/application risks and issues Essential Skills: Capability as a Test Analyst (minimum 3+ years) Experience using a number of test tools - (ALM)+(UFT) Experience managing testing across a wide range of systems and technologies Experience as a Test Analyst working on medium to large scale IT projects Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with technical and non-technical personnel Knowledge and experience across diverse test levels In addition, applicants must be prepared to work flexible hours depending on Project deadlines and be prepared to travel interstate/overseas on occasions.
