HUMPHREY ANUMUDU, A FRIEND INDEED! I held a private meeting with a very special and senior friend of mine, yesterday. We had some chats about some of the front line Governorship aspirants in the State, but he was clearly in favour of Barrister Humphrey Anumudu. He has a very special spot for him. This soft spot has been there for the past twenty five years. He told me that it has taken him a quarter of a century to study this man, and he has no reason to doubt his sincerity, capability, and credibility. He is unrepentant in his conviction that Barrister Humphrey Anumudu is the most fitting answer to Imos cry for good governance. ************************* My thinking is that it takes a very special and sincere man to sustain a friendship for twenty five years. Unlike the present Governor in the State, who hardly keeps friends beyond three years, Humphrey Anumudu who has being friends with this my friend for twenty five years, and my friend says he has no regrets. I am also impressed with Barrister Anumudus history of consistency. His route to wealth is well-known. In politics, he has been severally disappointed and even betrayed by some of his closest political allies, but he has never betrayed his people. Even the PDP cannot be said to have being fair to him, but whenever he leaves the Party, he does not waste time in returning. To me, consistency is indispensable in leadership, and I have no doubt that Humphrey Anumudu is consistent. Onwuasonya fcc Jones
