Had a great day at TGR. LuLu ran great, won me some clean shooter money and Reserve Lady overall. Thank you Nancy Hutchison Crosby for letting use your great mare. Best part of the day though was saving 4 ducks lives. Coming into Saint David car was dead stop in the road, I swerved towards the ditch and was met with a white duck. As the front car pulled away in the middle of my lane was another duck. Feathers around it, it stood up, flapped its wings with feathers flying. Both came up to me squawking. No cars were coming the other way so I started herding them to their pond, as I did a car came by and hollered out AFLAC! There were 2 mallards waiting for this pair on the other side of the road. As of this morning no duck guts on the road so Im guessing they decided the pond was the best place to be.
