Had my writer meet up tonight and one of the other writers is a very busy doctor by day. At the start of the meeting, she was planning her Thanksgiving dinner on the phone. She gets off and says Never guess what happened to me.... Shes at the supermarket buying a month of food when BOOM they hand her a frozen turkey. Shes like Whats this? A turkey. What am I going to do with this? Cook it and eat it. Now my friend is here in Hawaii on a temporary gig and had cornish hens in her cart for her holiday dinner. A 15 lb turkey was NOT in her game plan. So she called Nathan (of the steampunk book I linked to last week) and asked him if he wanted it. Somehow this ended with her going to his house for Thanksgiving.... I couldnt stop laughing. Shes been so busy that she hadnt read the Thanksgiving thread for the Black Wolves...
