Had quite the scare this morning. I went to a new dr for a regular checkup and happened to mention that I had cellulitis (skin infection) on my foot less than 2 weeks ago and said that its still there and now my leg hurts in a couple spots. She examined my leg then bolted to the other side of the building and brought in my reg dr who said they thought I may have a blood clot in my leg. They tell me that I have to go right to the hospital next door for an ultrasound and blood work and that I cant go home or even to get Chris because its that serious. OMG. I get out to the van and call my mother and Chris and they both come join me at the hospital. My sister left work early and my father sent Sally to join us until he got out of work. So after the U/S and blood work I was told to report back to the drs office for test results. I am so thankful to say it was a false alarm and that theres no blood clot but I have to take antibiotics for another 10 days. Im upset that they also took me out of work until Monday (havent told work yet) but they insist I get more rest. Like I have time for that, lol. I am so incredibly thankful for the family I have that flocks together when anything scary comes up.
