Half of the American Public are coming to a weird conclusion about government and religion. The government is not anti-religion. They, BY LAW are not allowed to support one religion over another. They must support all religions equally, even the worship of the devil, or none. So public displays at the cost of the American tax payer are not allowed. The government does care if you build a church, synagogue, or mosque on private property. Why? Because no even the church can settle its differences. America has found a way to allow those who live here to co-exist in more or less peace. That has not been the case in the middle east where is law of the land is, believe like I tell you to believe or I will cut off your head. This is not metaphorical, this is actual. Personally, I think our way is better..
