Happening Now, Training Exercise: The Modesto Police Department has teamed up with Modesto Junior College, Modesto Fire Department, AMR, OES, and FEMA and are currently conducting a training exercise at MJC East Campus. This is a simulated exercise with a scenario of a plane crash with mass casualties into and MJC building. The only affected road for this training exercise is Coldwell between Tully and College. This closure will last until approximately 3:00 PM. These types of training exercises are crucial in strengthening the teamwork between local and federal emergency response agencies.
