Happy Birthday to our sweet daughter Brianna Marie! She turns 13 today and is now a TEEN! of course, shes still in bed..but she will wake up a teenager! Still remembering that day of 9/11 with her in my belly, 4 days late already, and Im telling her dont come out today...just wait....and then the morning of 20 September, 2011 I woke up just knowing she had to come out that day...so had Paul take me to the maternity ward at NAS Pensacola hospital...and the nurses tried talking me out of inducing because she was only 13 days late...why not give it one more day...and I was adamant she needed to come out...I didnt know why..just had that gut feeling. Sure enough, when they broke my water to start the inducing...she had pooped in there....so they immediately started the flushing out of the amniotic fluid while continuing with the inducing...which did NO good...so 6 hours of labor later they made the decision to take her by C-section...Brianna Marie was born at approximately 10 minutes to 10PM that night, against her strong little will!
