Happy Coonie Tuesday. Alyce hasnt posted in awhile. We have been around just busy. I am not sure if its the hot weather or her renal failure but eating has been an issue. Some days she only eats one bowl of food and we know for Coonies that is not normal. It is hard to watch my beautiful baby girl get older and slow down. She is 13 1/2 and just the difference from last summer has thrown me for a loop. We still get out and walk every morning but I cant take her on the long hikes anymore. I am struggling with the whole getting older issue. I love on her every day, take pictures every day and just grateful that she is still here with me. She is happy, loud, talks a lot and is a good girl. I am blessed that she chose me and I am going to make sure that every day she knows this. Today is Happy Coonie Day and we are happy and we try and be happy every day.
