Happy Monday! *70° or Slightly Better Today* *Cold Rain on Tuesday, Mix – Well N & W* *Partly Sunny Mild on Wednesday* DETAILS – It will be a picture perfect day across central Virginia with sunny skies this morning and a few clouds this afternoon but it will be warm with highs near 70 or even a little warmer in a few areas. Clouds will push into the region tonight from the northwest and our winds will shift to the north drawing down the cold air back into Central Virginia. Our overnight low temperatures will fall back to near 40. Some light showers will be with us throughout the day on Tuesday and it will be chilly with lows in the lower to middle 40s. Some areas well north and west of Richmond, specifically the Culpeper to Winchester area, might see some sleet and wet snow flakes mixing in with the rain. That system will clear the coast late Tuesday night and allow for partly sunny skies and mild temperatures to return for Wednesday. Another weather system will approach the region for Thursday afternoon and that looks like it may stall over us for the end of the week and weekend giving us plenty of clouds with some off and on showers with highs in the lower 50s.
