Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a safe and fun celebration! I am usually asked a GoPro question everyday so it made me think, I should post some FAQs. Here are the answers to the most common questions I receive. What did I miss that you may have a question about? - What GoPro do you have: Hero 3+ Black - What GoPro should I get for myself or my loved one: Minimally the Hero 3+ Black, preferably the Hero 4 Silver or Black - What pole should I get: Depends on what you are going to shoot but I use UK Poles. - How do you keep water spots off your lens: Saliva. Lick, dip and click - Are your wave shots frames from video: No, they are pictures - What picture settings do you use: Depends . For waves, I shoot burst mode 30/1 second. For still shots I use single shot or burst of 3 in the single shot settings. - What video settings do you use: The video below is WVGA 240 fps. For higher resolution and larger displays, I use 720p 120 fps or 1080p 60 fps, Protune enabled, GoPro color. If you want to slow it down, use a higher frame rate. If you dont want to slow it down, use a slower frame rate like 60, 30 or even 24 for smoother clips. - What do you use to edit your pictures: Aperture, not Photoshop - What do you use to edit your videos: Final Cut Pro X Hope these help!
