Happy New Year everyone! This is Kellys Happy Face. I swear it is. Kelly has been at HES for 6 months and she has a few obstacles. Her Happy Face has been a barrier for people approaching her. When you go to pet her she will meow at you with love in her heart, she just looks a little angry. Kellys biggest concern is that she is the epitome of a scaredy-cat. She loves attention, loves to be petted, played with, you can coochie-coo her for days……as long as shes in her cage. Recently Ive been acclimating her to life outside the cage. Its helping to build her confidence slowly. But her focus is always getting back to her comfort zone, and hiding under her pillow. She is extremely sweet! I have flipped her, flopped her, we play Kelly Got Your Belly (you know what I mean) and she is never aggressive, never bites, never scratches. She just rolls around and meows with that Happy Face. She also knows her name and answers when called. I feel strongly that she would flourish in a Forever Home. I know there is someone who will open their heart to shy Kelly and help her blossom. -Andrea
