Happy Saturday! Today Im Happy! Today we will be sending students on our 16th Annual PUSH For Excellence HBCU tour. I am most proud of this tour because many students have never been beyond Lake Michigan. My heart is warmed because so many of these students have never been out of the state. Today they will begin their journey. These buses will hold many, many dreams and possibilities. We are trying to make their dreams realities. Education Matters. The bus leaves at 12pm today. High School Students will visit Chicago State, Morehouse College, Spellman College, Clark Atlanta University, Florida A & M University Alabama A&M University, Rust College, Tougaloo College, and Jackson State. Come meet the bus as it begins the tour today. We are asking all of those who would like to send the students a well-wish to wear your HBCU gear and meet us at PUSH Headquarters. If you cannot meet us still send us a well-wish and send prayers for these students, the chaperones, the staff and the drivers. We are thankful today that God has allowed us another opportunity to inspire these students and send them on the college tour. We are thankful for all of our sponsors, volunteers, members, staff and interns who make days like this possible. Days like this make our efforts meaningful. We again, thank everyone for their support but we need many more to join us in our efforts. We need to keep these tours viable.
