Happy Throwback Thursday VTF! Think EDC or Tomorrowland are big massive events? Did you know that there was a rave that was double to triple the size of todays largest (EDC Las Vegas) 14 years ago? Too young to attend, I remember watching the events of Germanys Love Parade unfold on my grandmas TV and dreamed of participating in it one day. It was absolutely insane. The entire event was FREE!!! Trailer trucks with all the biggest DJs of the time roamed around the big roundabout in Berlin and attendees could follow their favourite DJ or stand in one spot and listen to the music change over time. Sadly the event was cancelled due to rising costs and cleanup fees. It returned a few years later and was successful in drawing massive crowds until it was cancelled indefinitely upon the death of several people crushed in a tunnel by crowd pressure.
