Hard fought 2nd place. Sloppy soft messy mud. Wish I had more power to get through it faster as there was no place to rest. Bike handling was great, just couldnt keep up with the strength of the 1st place guy. Havent replaced my toe spikes in years, and they were so worn down I could barely get up the steep hill. And for the CX1 fan boys, I had zero issues with my Wolf Tooth ring and Type 2 X9 derailleur, even with this mess, and I ran the same bike the whole race. :)
