Hats off to my 4 year old niece Nour for standing up for herself .. Few days ago when my sister took niece Nour to school, her home room teacher along with other parents complained that my niece seems like an outcast being the only girl with #HIJAB on . They supposed if its hijab then my sister must have forced her to wear hijab. Not only that , They also tried pulling her hijab off ( in a friendly manner) as they were speaking to my sister . My niece is a preK student in an english medium school in Bangladesh. Regardless of her age she stood up for her hijab and told her mom : dont listen to these people . Put it back on . I want to wear it. .🙌 While going home her mom asked why she likes hijab; she replied: the principle gave me a hug and a high five cause I was the only babu with hijab on 😊 and I think its pretty ... Sad how we assume its always a non Muslims who sees hijab as a sign of oppression. Please respect womens right to chose ( to wear or not to wear hijab).
