Have you always dreamed of spending a summer in North Carolina? Who hasnt!? What follows is some recruitment for a Research Experience for Undergraduates opportunity at NC State. FYI - Martha Groom went to NC State and R. Turner briefly served sandwiches across the street in restaurant featured in the film Bull Durham. The Department of Soil Science at North Carolina State University has a Research Experience for Undergraduates programs funded by the National Science Foundation to bring in underrepresented undergraduates to do a summer internship conducting research with faculty mentors. The internship includes a $5,000 stipend, housing, a food allowance, plus travel funds. Seeking sophomores, juniors, or seniors who could benefit from exposure to soil and environmental science research.
