Have you been struggling with unanswered pray?. I guess we all do. You have been asking God to rescue a friend or love one from addiction, to grant salvation to loved one, to heal a sick child, to mend a relationship. All these things you think must be Gods will. For years you pray, but you hear nothing back from him and see no results. You remind the Lord that he is powerful. That your request is a good thing. You plead, you wait, you doubt, maybe he doesnt hear you or maybe he isnt so powerful after all. You quit asking for days or months. Then you feel guilty about doubting. You remembered that God wants you to take your needs to Him and you tell Him your request again. We may sometimes feel we are like the persistent widow in Luke 18. She keeps coming to the Judge bothering him and trying to wear him down so hell give in. But we know that God is more kinder and powerful than the Judge in that parable. We trust Him, for he is good and wise and sovereign. We remember that Jesus said we arealways ought to pray and not loose heart. So right now lets just ask God to summon his power, show us his strength as he has done before and then we trust him and wait. Lets keep praying keep praying children of God, this is our duty and our task. To God the answer belong, ours are the simpler part to ask. Remember that delay is not denial so keep praying.
