Have you ever had one of those days where we wake up with a certain verse of scripture on your mind? This morning I have had the joy of the Lord is my strength playing over and over in my mind. Maybe the Lord is reminding me. Maybe He is teaching me. Maybe He is preparing me. I really couldnt tell you exactly why He has planted this verse in my mind, but I can say that it is something I need reminding of daily. From neighbors who are bent and determined to not live at peace with us, to tasks that are really not what I want to do, and the possibility of a stomach bug. Well....you get it. Life can have so many curve-balls that it can drain us some days. But when we remember where our joy comes from, it gives us peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding knowing that the Lord is our joy giver. He is our life giver. He is our breathe. He is our source of living water. He is our everything.
