Havent posted an update for a while on Dana, This weekend from our trip to SDR Rehab UK in Newport, Wales shows Danas ability to overcome her self belief. Now 16 and out of a wheelchair since SDR 3 years ago, which she used 90% of the time, her confidence in knowing she is able to achieve is showing. We did have a few wobbles and we had a fair few outstanding moments also. Standing for the amount of time she did was unheard of, and just getting on with what she had to do. The fluid in her walking was a real wow. I still think Dean has magical powers. Thank you seems so trivial, we are very lucky to have your combined level of experience progress Dana even further. SDR Rehab as a team simply know the kids and know how to get the best from them, what ever the age of the child- they get it. From neuro physio to massage to the S&C coaches the collaboration of the team is outstanding and simply awesome. They care about the children and parents which is unique. The only other place I feel the same is at SLCH. For UK parents who are thinking of where to go, SDR Rehab UK is unbeatable with combined experience, professionalism and uniqueness as a team.
