Hawker Reunions? From Frank Ronkowski, How are you & the Family? I was wondering if you have heard of Any More Reunions? I lost a Couple of Contacts when I changed to YAHOO Mail. Some how or the other, They just stopped Writing & by Me sending e-mail, They just went Unanswered Time After Time. Anyway, The Weather has been changing & Now its not to hot out. So we could enjoy the Out Doors More. I sure hope you are well. Frank, Frank, Great subject! I have been talking with a few Hawkers at our little Reunion - Get Together at Helen, GA back in May & it was said these Hawkers havent shown much enthusiasm for organizing Reunions for us. I was showing these Hawk Veterans how easy it is to hold one. 1 - Pick a place & set the date. (All will not be able to attend, but stay with these plans). 2 - Make your announcement no later than one year before the planned event. (Preferably 2 years ahead). 3 - Keep an eye open for other Hawker Reunions & Gatherings that may conflict Your Scheduled Plans. (Change the Dates Early, if needed) 4 - Look for Hawkers that live in the area that can scout the area for Motel Accommodations & Things To Do. 5 - Stick with these plans & we will come! (No Money collected in advance & we all pay our own expenses). Much Fun Will Be Had By All! Im sharing this mail with many Hawker ADA Veterans in hopes that we can generate interest. Some great locations would be: LAWTON, OK for a Reunion at Ft. Sill. HUNTSVILLE, AL for a Reunion at Redstone Arsenal, NORFOLK, VA for a Reunion there. PENSACOLA, FL for a Reunion at the Naval Air Museum. DAYTON, OH for a Reunion at Wright Patterson AFB. (& a RR Museum in that area). & WARNER ROBINS, GA for a Reunion at Warner Robins AFB. Many great places to go! Try for a location in Different States so that many of us Hawk Veterans can get a chance to attend to a few of them.
