Hayato Ichihara is cast in movie GOKUDO DAISENSO (literally Yakuza Movie Wars). The movie will be directed by Takashi Miike and screenplay by Yoshitaka Yamaguchi (Arcana). The Gokudo in the Japanese movie title refers to the yakuza movie genre in which director Takashi Miike first gained fame from. This time around, he brings about several twists from within that genre. In the film, Hayato Ichihara will play a young man who idolizes the yakuza from watching films from the gokudo genre. He eventually joins the yakuza, but the other members view him as an idiot. Meanwhile, the leader of the yakuza is targeted by assassins who know that he is a vampire.
